I have more pictures this week because we had company and were out and about a bit more.
An Instagram friend posted an idea of wrapping your wreath hanger in twine. LOVELY! I just happened to have twine and was SOOOO excited I could do this! <3
Gotta soak those beans. :) Well, no really you don't "have" to. You can just use the crockpot and slow cook them. But I am SO particular about soft skins that I generally still soak mine.
Homemade roasted salsa. Recipe (changed slightly) from another Instagram friend. It was yummy, if I do say so myself. BTW: Chunky went first!
Here's my sweet doll. :) Mama sent the picture. I embellished. ;)
There's my little guy. He REALLY hates his picture taken. I've recently decided I should start using treats for pics. Haven't done it yet though.
Can you believe we are STILL getting peppers from our garden?! I can't, but we are! My hubs planted bell peppers and Anaheim peppers. They've been wonderful!
And our big boy! He's so cute.
Again with the big boy and the FLOORS!! :)
Cooking the beans for refried! They turned out really nice.
While getting ready for our company, I made us smoothies. Pretty good and I love my ninja. Although, any food bloggers out there -- I would love to win a BlendTech. ;) Just sayin...
Also made (The Pioneer Woman's) Marshmallow Krispy's.
It was wonderful to have family come for a visit! :) LOVED having them and spending time with them. Such a great time!! :)
The last four pictures were taken on Saturday with our company in San Francisco. It was a beautiful day in the city. It was apparently Fleet Week and there was an air show. Cool.
Our Mexican chef. My hubs! All recipes from his Mama.
And the food pic. :) LOVED it! :) I do the condiments and the refried beans.
This was at the airport saying goodbye to these guys. :(
More SF pics! SUCH a beautiful city and day!
SF :)
My aunt and uncle at Coit Tower. COOLNESS!
We ate leftover Mexican food on Monday evening. I made a different kind of dip. It went over real well too.
Our Tuesday night dinner -- Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and Caesar salad.
Sad face after family left. :(
This wasp fella let me get within 2 inches of him to get this picture. CRAZY!
Pretty flowers in our front yard. I like how the buds on these look almost metallic.
Maxie on the way to the groomers.
Me, in the car playing on my phone. #lovemyiphone
Cooper missing Max while he's gone.
