My confession... I don't recycle so much. (Don't hate.) The good news is I'M TRYING! Good for me. ;) I use jars and containers for storage more than ziplocks now... things like that. David is a good boy; he sorts all of our trash. I did bring an additional trash can into the kitchen, for recyclables. If it's handy, it will be more effective.
Well today I came up with a new item to reuse. YAY ME!!!
I warn you though... a good environmentalist wouldn't even be using the product that I'm recycling. But. B-A-B-Y S-T-E-P-S...
Do you know about those dishwasher tablet things? Well, we use them. And love them. We bought a new container today. I normally buy refill packs and then the container is automatically reused. Since we were at Costco and they only carry the new packs, we just got that. When I got home I saw the old container and couldn't bear to throw it out. So, I decided to reuse it! :) This one I'm going to reuse for the old store bags that we reuse (maybe I do better than I thought!!). The next one we get (if we happen to be out of these when we're at Costco again), I'm going to use for a vehicle trash can! I'm sure there are a ton of uses for these and they're really cool little containers!
Do you have any recycling ideas for me? I'm all ears! Remember, I'm trying to do better... ;)
